Smartwatch compatibility with VNS?
I had VNS implanted almost 14 years ago and replaced it with model 220 about 2 years ago because of the battery life. I am happy with the VNS as my seizure frequency has reduced about 75% since it was first implanted. I would like to get an apple smartwatch but I am concerned that the watch will affect the VNS performance. Has anyone with a VNS tried using a smartwatch?

Hi @cononina
I am happy to hear that the VNS is bringing good results to you 🙏.
If I were in your place, I would ask my doctor in the first place to know if a smart watch can affect the VNS performance. Unfortunately, I can not help you as I do have a smartwatch (it has helped me greatly), but no VNS. I hope others here in our group can add to that.
Have all a lovely Sunday!

My son has had a VNS for over 20 years for seizures. He has worn an Apple watch for the last 5-6 years with no problems with the VNS.
