Exercise helped my sleep

I'm st 4 years. Imptiving rapidly, finally.

The only symptom not yrt impriving is hidding ears.

One if my first sympyoms was chrinic insomnia, and then fatigue and general mental deterioration. A year ago excersize would have been followed by relapse.

Now it helps. I slept 9 hours ladt night. As the indomnia gradually wire off I wad thankfull for 5 hours.

Sleeo, somehiw someway id the key. Then add a workout, ss son as it's possible. Exhileration!

I gather that you have had long Covid for 4 years now and that your first and debilitating symptom was insomnia. In the first years of long COVID, exercise would cause you to suffer a relapse - something referred to as post-exertional malaise or PEM.

However, you're exciting news is that exercise seems to be helping now and has helped your sleep patterns which are so important to healing.

Can you share a bit more? How did you get over exercise causing a relapse or PEM? Did you pace yourself and gradually increase your exercise? What type of exercise do you do now?

Possibly just a matter of time. 4 years was once a CS degree. Now it's 75 year old apprentice geezer.

My Doctors prescribed various drugs (some targeting prostate rather than Long Covid). I had insomnia, memory loss, confusion (brain fog), fatigue, constant diarrhea and tinnitus.

I'm down to hissing ears now. We are Montanans who Winter in Texas. An oak branch (big one) fell in a storm. I cut it up and stacked it with a bow saw. Gasping for breath by the end. But exhilarated. It lasted.

I take a blood thinner because the Doc said LC people have a statistically increased chance of stroke.
I squire CBD oil at night because it does help sleep. Although I can now still sleep almost as well, when I run out and forgot to order more. I did take diarrhea meds for a week. Stopped. It did not come back. After 3 years of it.

So my conclusion is A) stubborness B) diarrhea meds C) CBD ....it does help with sleep
