I have Sjogren's Disease. Should I be aware of any different tests with my cardiologist, do to my inflammation?

Depending on what the cardiologist finds, and then prescribes, I know of nothing that might exacerbate the common symptoms of Sjogren's. If we're dealing with something like atrial fibrillation (AF), then he/she may strongly urge the patient to take a direct-acting oral anti-coagulant (DOAC) like edoxaban, rivaroxaban, or apixaban. This is to reduce the chances of clotting in the left atrium, at which they might go downstream and cause stroke or thromboembolism. He/she may also ask the patient to consider a statin, if ischemia due to obstructed cardiac blood vessels are indicated. Statins can cause some forms of discomfort and irritation, and some patients have to stop them for something else or simply do without. Please do a search in your web browser, something like' common and rare side effects of statin.'
