Sinus pressure after sinus surgery
About two years ago, i had sinus surgery. Soon after i noticed pressure across my sinuses and face. The surgeon checked and said everything was fine. I went on to get a second and third opinion and all the ent's said the same thing. i have recently been seeing a neurologist who is treating me for chronic tension headaches but she cannot explain what causes the pressure. it is very debilitating, painful and seriously affects my quality of life. Does anyone have any ideas or experienced the same thing?

I had a balloon sinuplasty.
Since my surgery, i have seen 3 (4?) ENT's. All say my sinuses healed well and are normal; so they rule out sinusitis.
i have seen 3 (or 4?) ENT's since the surgery. They used a computer-assisted tool to look into my sinuses. They all concur that there are no sinus issues, so the pain and pressure is a mystery.
All the ENT's who have examined me since the surgery say my sinuses are clear. They cannot explain the pain and pressure behind my nose. I have been referred to a neurologist. Neither can she explain these symptoms.
I would see a Neurologist for possible medication to help
I was referred to a neurologist. She diagnosed me with chronic tension headaches. Prescribed Pregabentin for the pain. She admitted not knowing what causes the pain and pressure.

Most ENTs or Neuros whom have navigated this try amitriptyline or nortriptiline.
Did the gabapentin help you?
In the 90’s i had a deviated septum, the doctor took out too many turbinates, then an ENT told me he could help me breath better, that was a huge mistake, he took cartilage from my rib , for several months i was breathing better but then my breathing kept getting worse, i found out recently that I have Empty nose syndrome, also internal & external nasal valve collapse, i struggle everyday, wish i would have never listened to those drs
The Gabapentin helped with the pain, but i asked to be taken off it because of the side effects. It made me feel "foggy" or out of it. I couldn't remember things and couldn't walk in a straight line. My neurologist changed it to Pregabentin.
i'm wondering how your ears are. any issues there. all in all connected. earaches, plugged ears? also any nosebleeds?
