"Shine New Light on Hearing Loss" An educational opportunity

If hearing loss is interfering with life for you or someone you care about, or for the general population you may work with, consider attending this educational conference in Appleton Wisconsin.

This event is sponsored by HLAA Wisconsin; organized by the HLAA chapter in the Appleton area. Outstanding presenters are lined up to share their expertise on topics such as:
* Communication Barriers in Healthcare
* Cochlear Implants; New Research + Criteria for Candidacy
* The Emotional Side of Hearing loss. Why Inclusion Matters!
* How the Disabilities Act Relates to Communication Access
* Technology Research & Development....What's New?

This event is open to the public. Medical professionals, social workers, nursing home staff, etc. are encouraged to attend, along with people who have hearing loss, many of whom will share personal experiences.
