Severe Migraine Patients prescribed AI drugs
I have a long history of chronic migraines and am newly diagnosed with breast cancer. I have been prescribed Letrozole for prevention of recurrence. Immediately, I began having severe daily migraines. Are other migraine patients experiences the same on AIs? Are you only able to take Tamoxifen? Thank you.

I was on Letrozole for only two months when the aura migraine started several times a week. Then came a full blown migraine so bad that it woke me up at night. I stopped Letrozole right away but it took a week for me to feel normal again. Now I’m on exemestane. So far so good. Gained quite a few pounds but no migraines , tolerable aches and pains, light petechiea. Tamoxifen is mostly for premenopausal women and it can increase the risk of uterine cancer.
