Severe eczema in 3 yr child.

Some balms give slight temporary symptomatic relief, as does bleach baths. Anyone had experience with food allergies (such as dairy products) as potential causes of the eczema?

Food allergy testing is definitely appropriate.
Your pediatrician and dermatologist should both be aware of the proper
blood testing to start. Allergy skin testing is problematic with severe eczema
active. You may need to work with derm and peds if you have access to
specialists. Follow the guidelines on the bleach baths. They are helpful
for bacteria reduction.
