Septra antibiotic

Has anyone taken the antibiotic Septra. I'm on 20 mg (down from 60 over the past year)of prednisone daily and 20 mg of methotrexate weekly. I saw the rheumatologist for the first time this week and he has prescribed it 3x a week, because I take both of these other meds, I can find no information on it.

Thank you for the information. The rheumatologist said when taking both prednisone and methotraxte I should be taking this antibotic 3x a week. My pharmacist is going to double check with him
