Sensory Neuropathic Cough (SNC)
Any info or groups? I am suffering from a chronic cough due to SNC? This has been going on for years, and it started when I got pneumonia in the hospital many years ago. I was treated with different medications without any results. Any help or ideas on how to manage or cure this? I am otherwise very healthy, but the constant coughing is driving me crazy. Sometimes the cough is so severe that I struggle to get my breath back. Any advice will be great, or to connect with other people with the same condition. After many years of suffering with this chronic cough, I am desperate for a solution.

3 ReactionsI too had a chronic cough, lots of mucous, gasping for breath and so forth. I was using a box of tissues a day and went with a cough drop in my mouth continually. I Thought that it might be Whooping Cough again but there was only a small rise in temperature. It turned out that my teeth were diseased and poisoning me. After having them pulled the problem went away. This probably isn't what's ailing you but it wouldn't do any harm to see a dentist.
