How to Search on Connect - It can help you!

Posted by John, Volunteer Mentor @johnbishop, Dec 14, 2018

Do you know about Connect's Search function? I find it really helpful when I want to find a discussion about a symptom that I have and want to connect with other members with similar health problems.

Have you tried it? If not, I would recommend giving it a test run. It's easy, just click the small magnifying glass icon at the top of the window next to the little notifications bell.

Has it helped you? Let others know!

John

I have lived with gastroparesis for many years in and out of the hospital. Thankfully, I was able to surgically receive the gastric stimulator which has been a true blessing. However, through my blood work we have noticed that my protein level is extremely low. It is very difficult for me to eat chicken or fish any more and I cannot tolerate red meat at all. I have always followed Crystal Saltrelli's diet recommendations. Can anyone recommend eating to increase my protein level?

gastropareses since JUNE and it is now almost OCTOBER. Mostly liquids and cold chills, how to ease swallowing which is becoming more difficult? Can anybody offer any information for this horror? I take insulin twice a day and that and the neuropathy and osteo in both legs is slowing me down. AM 81 and need some encouragement.
