Seeings your NETs tumors on Scans

Posted by becky6869 @becky6869, Nov 22, 2019

I was wondering if anyone has been shown their tumors on any scans? Mine are lung and lymph nodes.

@mgreene

Is your doctor at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida?

Turning 65 next month, so I got the F plan hoping to het into Mayo. Go to support group there.

Becky, I agree with @hopeful33250. You have the right to not only see your scans, but to get copies of them. Your doctor can go over the scans with you to describe what they see.

Thank you. I will ask to see them.

I have seen almost all of my scans. It is hard to tell what is what some times but my Doc does his best to explain.

I agree, @sbcook70, I have brought in copies of reports, scans, etc. and asked the doctor to explain it. Most doctors are very willing to educate their patients so that they can understand what it going on. Education and understanding tend to keep us from worrying about what is happening!
