I would think you are still recovering you went through a lot! Low B-12 and folic acid could contribute however I would be reaching out to your Doctors for advice. I had major surgery 4-1/2 years ago that’s when my Pnets were found then going into the few treatments I’ve had and the monthly shot and the daily meds I’m still tired a lot! Good luck give yourself a little more time.

Hi again, Jess. Glad you’re getting the B12 shots and telling your doctor about your fatigue. Hopefully this is part of your body adjusting to the loss of lobe and the healing process, and you will improve naturally as time goes on. Three weeks is still early in recovery and healing, especially when you have open surgery, which I believe you had, compared to robotic.

@jessie1990: Fatigue is difficult to explain to others, and therefore some might reply, “oh yeah, who isn’t tired!”. Your endurance will improve over time and tumor control, but it is our body reminding you that your body is fighting a war. You may find it helpful to cut back on your regular schedule to allow more time for rest periods during each day. Family, neighbors, friends are usually willing to help you. We are here and may have a suggestion that will help you feel stronger.

No idea. It’s been 3 years since two of my lines were removed for typical carcinoid tumors. I still have some but I am now on Ct scan schedule of once a year. I am leading a normal life but
huff and puff some after climbing stairs
Wishing you hugs and
luck in this process
