Scalp pain?

I have been experiencing pain on the left side of my scalp on and off as well as pain around my ear & down my neck on the same side. Could this be part of my migraine symptoms? Would nerve blocks help this. Also some pressure around my left eye. I don’t know if it’s migraine or nerve pain. Welcome any ideas or experiences.

I get the same thing! I do have migraine headaches and I do have sinus problems but, I believe the culprit is my neck arthritis and I’m afraid I will be going for another ACDF soon. Really sounds like my situation and I’m curious if you have a bad neck as well.

Yes I have arthritis in my neck &was also diagnosed with cervicogenic pain.

I am blessed to not have migraines, but I do have pain just as you describe--on the right side of my neck and scalp and around my eye and sinus. Once it starts, it quickly becomes a painful generalized headache. My diagnosis is occipital neuralgia, caused by arthritis and some stenosis in my neck (due to poor posture, they say). I take tylenol and ibuprofen and have been having cervical steroid injections, which last about 6 weeks. Then 6 weeks of pain before I can have another. I do aerobic exercise and exercises for my posture and bad back, rest when I need to. Hoping I can avoid gabapentin as long as I possible.
