Rut Roh Rorge - PSA wrong direction

Posted by mjp0512 @mjp0512, Mar 17 10:44am

ADT / ARSI since June 2025
IMRT Oct 2025

PSA:
4/21/25 - 30.11
7/9/25 - 0.55
8/26/25 - 0.19
12/3/25 - 0.23
3/17/26 - 8.80

Methinks there's a problem. 😮😮😮

Results just popped up on the portal. Haven't heard from the Doc yet but I'm guessing another PSMA PET is in my near future. ALP is pretty high too, so liver or bone mets? Not yellow yet so I'm guessing bone. Maybe an ALP Isoenzyme test to determine source of elevation?

In any case, this sucks a little. 😡

Oh my god - I am SOOOOO happy to hear that ! 🤗

"Good news" - oh how much I crave them and hearing them this morning about your case really did put smile on my face : ))) ! YESSSSSS !!!! IT WORKED ! 🍀 And not only is that stupid PC obliterated , you a free from pain and so fast (knock the wood) !!! What a relief : )))) !!! I am sure that your PSA will go down - that spot was the culprit and prostate is probably just glowing due to cells still holding onto their dear life but not for much longer ; ) !

Wishing you wonderful day and thanks so much for sharing !!! 💖 : )))) Please give extra pets from me to your quails : ) - I wish I can have a pet chicken , I find them so cute and endearing but little quails are probably beyond adorable. : )))

@surftohealth88 - Thank you surf! Glad I could brighten your day a little. You certainly deserve it.

Oh and...hate to deflate your perception of quail but, they are only cute to people that don't raise them. Once you raise them, you discover how truly vicious they can be. 😯

@surftohealth88 - Went to bed at 9:30PM last night, woke up at 5 AM this morning...zero back pain for the first time in months!!!!!!!!!! I'm back!!!(for now)

Visit with GUO this afternoon, my guess is it's going to be a big nothing with a PSA test in about a month. If still rising, revised treatment plan afterwards. If showing a downward trend, monthly tests for a while after that. Like I said, just my guess. We'll see.

@heavyphil - Thanks, Phil. Yea...kinda surprised me. I expected it to be 2AM when I woke up but it was a full night's sleep and then realized no pain. Tried some, what was normal, resistance band work and full stride walking yesterday but was a somewhat off balance at times. Guess I need to retrain muscles that were not fully extended for months. That's OK, nothing hurt.
