It is scary! I’ve been diagnosed with BPD for over 20 years now and in the beginning, all the treatment that was available was Lithium and strong antipsychotics.
They have lots of new treatments now. What saved my life was Geodon. I worked my way up to 80mg a day and have been 95% stable for 10 years.
Something else may work for you so don’t lose hope.
Know that I’m thinking of you and sending positive energy your way.

How were you assessed/diagnosed and what are your current symptoms? Are you working with a psychiatrist for medication and are you seeing a psychologist for therapy?

What is your biggest fear? Do you have a support group of family and friends to help you manage?

xxx Disorder xxx
Disorder of what? I have disorders but not scared because my brain broke 12 years ago. I had a bicycled accident and moved as a TBI member.

xxx My Lose… xxx
My loses are gone as part of my memory from the last 50 years. Am I ā€œscaredā€? Usually not, but the other 20% back-in. The other 80% is gone. Where was ā€œscaredā€
back then?

xxx Hey, Where’s My ā€œScaredā€? xxx
I can’t get back of scared doing the wrong things. Thankfully. But now I hit the wrong thing even I don’t understand. I’m close to 70 year-young man, anyway.

xxx Just Think… xxx
If you are ā€œscaredā€, I hope your Ming can help inside you. For me, I pray to Christ, inside within me, He is here. But I need to ask everyday. I pray for you and end ā€œscaredā€ā€¦

Thx,
Greg D. @greg1956

Borderline Personality Disorder - Borderline personality disorder is one of the most painful mental illnesses since individuals struggling with this disorder are constantly trying to cope with volatile and overwhelming emotions. Those who don’t have this disorder sometimes have a hard time understanding the almost constant struggle with intense emotions. The problem is that the way a person with BPD behaves to escape the pain often leads to more pain. Some of the most severe mental illnesses include bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, and severe forms of major depression. These conditions can significantly impair daily functioning .

Thank you for the kind words... xxx
