@sueinmn
I had previously mentioned continued pain in the groin area and am now being evaluated for illiopsoas impingement. The actual reason has not been determined yet--could be implant or could be cement/screw? The Dr. is requesting a CT guided vs. other method (fluoro or ultrasound) Would this show the potential problem as well as delivering an injection?
Thanks Jane

Smith & Nephew makes an allegedly biocompatible implant -- oxidized zirconium.

@redbeets I leave it to my doctors to determine the best type of imaging for diagnosing my health issues, so I cannot say which is best. Depending upon issue and location, I have had x-ray studies, MRI, and CT scans with and without contrast. With injections to a specific area, my docs have variously used ultrasound or x-ray guidance depending upon location.

I figure they went to school for up to 12 years to learn everything, my few hours of research doesn't even begin to compare.
