@dswank Another source of information I forgot to mention - a Physical Therapist you trust. When I needed to switch orthopedic surgeons, I asked the 2 best PTs I knew for a recommendation - the guy I chose was at the top of both their lists. 12 years later he is still the orthopedic surgeon I rely on for hip/knee issues - and he refers me to other top docs for other issues like hands and shoulders.
