Question about Symbicort

I had asked the group if Symbicort caused osteoporosis and just heard from my doctor that it stays primarily in the lungs. It helps so much with breathing and shortness of breath.

I was on Symbicort for 3 1/2 years and am now battling a terrible fungal infection. I kept getting worse until I stopped the Symbicort. I did successfully switch to Spiriva. There are many warnings about Symbicort with MAC and fungal diseases. I will never take corticosteroids /steroids again.
