if you search for central florida it brings up quite a few infectious disease Drs who have experience with MAC
You can try Dr Chakrapol Sriaroon in Tampa at the University of South Florida/Tampa General Hospital. He’s Board certified in Pulmonology as well as Infectious Disease. He did some training at National Jewish Health. It may take a while for you to get an appointment but I don’t think it will be as long as two years. I see him and am very happy with him.
This is a great site that I haven’t seen. I found a pulmonologist that is distinguished inMAC in my area. With these great recommendations I should be able to get an appointment.
Thank you
Thank you!
I go to the Mayo in Jax. If you are willing to use a Fellow Doctor, you can probably get in within 2 months. I was not sure I wanted a Doc that was a Fellow because of the experience. I am so glad I took the appointment. She has done a great job, is compassionate, accessible for questions, listens to you, and monitors you well.
Thank you, I have some good recommendations close by
so I will try those first.
I live in The Villages and go see a Pulmonologist at UF Florida in Gainsville. They have an NTM clinic there, but I've only had my initial visit and bronchoscopy so far just waiting on cultures right now. Dr. Natalia Moguillansky
