Pulmonary atresia?

If at the age of 8 a boy was diagnosed with pulmonary atresia and used drugs to sustain him until he reached 16 years old the drugs couldn't do anymore and entered coma and the doctors said that his heart was weaken. What can we do to save his life

@tesoro I have no idea, sorry. I am also sorry nobody else has chimed in. I would think that, if extremely urgent, and nothing to lose, they might try a surgical repair. However, if his heart is so weak, go greatly and devastatingly weak, that he can only exist in a coma..................................that's not good. No surgeon I know would attempt such a repair and attempt to charge you for it. I think it would be unethical because the chances of it succeeding are very slim. Razor thin.

@tesoro I'm so very sorry. I can't offer advice as I am untrained, just a patient with heart problems. The surgeon is the person to consult, and their decision is almost always final. Or, find another surgeon who will listen and who will try to correct the condition.
