Promises of improved kidney function?

Is anyone aware of the naturopath with Kidney Disease Solutions at Kidney solution.net. ? He is promoting a book and diet that participants say are successful in increasing GFR.

@amu45sin

Amu45sin here.
I am sure you are doing what is best for you.
For me, with GFR of 55 and Stage 3, I keep my potassium down to 800 per day and sodium down to 800 per day. Calories at 1,100. So far so good. 80 year old male.

Thank you

How do you manage to maintain those 800 Levels?
Your help is appreciated

I count everything.
To maintain the low levels I do strict portion control by using a food
scale.
I find the less I eat, the small portions satisfy me just fine.

I also do the same and track everything I eat on a daily spreadsheet.
What foods does your diet consist of?

@georgecjh and @amu45sin I really have to applaud you both for keeping such close records of all you eat! I keep a spreadsheet of all my bloodwork, and a separate book of my daily vitals and dialysis; that's enough for me LOL

My biggest challenges are making sure I get enough good protein into my system. Chicken and fish, mostly, or hummus, hard boiled eggs, a homemade protein shake most mornings. Also, I take a potassium supplement, which is unusual, since most people need to really watch their potassium levels.

I just had my monthly lab work this week, and everything is in the acceptable range, so very pleased with that.
