Prolia and Hair Loss

Yes, I have heard of it and believe it probably would work, but I believe a person has to continue it or benefits will be be lost.

A good friend of mine has been on Prolia and has lost a significant amount of hair. Not sure if that's the only reason, but I suspect it contributed greatly.

I was on Prolia for 3 years and did experience a lot of hair loss. When I developed an infection in my jaw, which involved extraction of a tooth, it took 4 months for the bone in my jaw to remodel and for the extraction to heal. I do not like Prolia. I'm on Tymlos now, and have side effects from that. Ugh.

My sister and I both refuse to take any of the medications because of the research we've done. Not to mention the many horror stories of side effects we hear about from others.

We are both on Algea Cal, doing weight bearing exercises, using a Marodyne machine, eating six prunes a day, as well as doing Tai Chi on a regular basis. We feel good re our choice.

I think everyone considering Prolia should recall what happened during the pandemic when users could not get their injections in a timely manner. Amgen released a video instructing on self administration.

Did you go on a followup med after Prolia? Would you share which one? Did it cause hair loss?

I also am also experiencing massive hair loss after 3rd shot. Can't believe I agreed to go on this poison.

Trying to figure out what my next step is.
