Progressive cardiac conduction disease
Does anyone here have progressive cardiac conduction disease? I’ve felt kind of lonely since diagnoses as I’ve never found anyone else with this.
My story in short - genetic in origin. My brother also has it. Mother, uncles, grandmother all died young presumably because of it. Genetic testing showed a mutation of the SOS1 gene. This is considered of ‘unknown significance’.
I also have sinoatrial disease and coronary artery spasms. All of this manifests in a lot of different arrhythmias including AF, NSVT, SVT, lots of PVCs and PACs daily, bradycardia, tachycardia, LBBB, chest pressure and pin point heart pain.
I’m medicated so far with eliquis, carvedilol, amlodipine, candesartan and imdur. EF at 52% and holding. Lots of fatigue, breathlessness etc. EP and cardiologist have indicated a biventricular pacemaker at some point in the future. It’s been 6 years since diagnoses and it’s definitely progressing.
