Primary Cutaneous Gamma Delta T Cell Lymphoma
Is there anyone out there that has or knows someone that has been diagnosed with Gamma Delta T Cell Lymphoma? My wife received this news and from what we have read is that it’s extremely rare and scary. . Looking desperately to see if anyone knows someone or is diagnosed with this?

@nycmom26 Welcome to Connect. Were you or loved one recently diagnosed with Primary Cutaneous Gamma Delta T Cell Lymphoma?
What have you been told about this form of lymphoma? Are you (or someone you know) currently in treatment?
@graycoose It’s crazy how fast time flies by! It’s about a year and a half since we’ve spoken! How is your husband doing now after that length of time with his bone marrow transplant? Life back to normal?
@loribmt
He died April 10th. He didn't even make it a year after his diagnosis. We are lost without him. Still cant believe hes gone. I dont understand how some people can live 5+ yrs and others dont. Its a very strange disease. Do u know how cmahan10 wife is? Hope shes doing good...dont even know her and I think about her alot
@graycoose Oh my dear, I am so very sorry to hear about the loss of your husband. This was certainly unexpected and sad news. I know you both went through so much together along his cancer journey and it just doesn’t seem fair to have such an unfortunate outcome.
There have been no recent updates from @cmahan10 but looking on their profile page, I see they are still active in Connect as of three days ago. (type in their @name. Underneath the photo you can see when some joined and when they were last active). Hopefully they will see the tag of their name and see this response of yours. https://connect.mayoclinic.org/comment/1500250/
Sending you a gentle hug. We’re all family here and each loss is so very tragic. Do you have family and friends nearby for support?
I’m so sorry to see this update! You are right, it is 100% a very strange disease. My wife is doing well. Her first SCT failed early in 2025 and she relapsed soon after. For all of 2025 she went through chemo to get back into remission in order to get a second SCT. She was able to achieve this and had her SCT in October of 2025 and just graduated from her 100 days on February 2nd. She is doing well and is 100% donor and in remission. Again, I am so sorry you all had a different outcome 🙁
