Pregabalin & Gabapentin Not Working.
Okay I've had neuropathy for over 3 years now and neither of these medications are working. I see a doctor in a few weeks to see about a stimulator? I heard they only work half the time. Is this true or a myth? Cause it would be a huge headache with no resolution. Thanks for your time and assistance.

Thank you for your reply,I sincerely hope they can find a medication to help us all soon and also make it affordable,I have been on opioids for over 2 years and would love to come off it.
I started to develop PN in 2007, mostly losing feelings in my toes on both feet. By early 2012 my pain was so bad I could not wear socks nor have sheets touch my feet at night. By then I had tried all of the drugs, they all came with bad side effects and no relief. The only thing that helped was a low dose of Morphine. So in 2012 I had a Spinal Cord Stimulator implanted. It helped with the smaller nerves relieving about 60% of my pain. This allowed me to work snd get around better. Now it’s 2025, all my small nerves appear to be dead, no feeling in either feet with my large nerves causing pain. I do not use my Spinal Cord Stimulator. Not sure if this post helps, this is what happened to me.
I have halved cabamazepine which is similar to pregabalamin. Taking METHYLCOBALAMIN and turmeric. Alcohol and old age had reduced my B12 production . No pain and feeling 100 % . Stopped alcohol too.Look up , alcohol effect on B12 now. Go for it.
Yes indeed.
