Prednisone and neuropathy

Before prednisone and PMR, I had a very, very mild case of non-diabetic neuropathy. I've been on pred for five months and in the last month, my neuropathy is spreading up my calves, even though I am tapering down from 8 to 4. Anyone else with this experience?

@csimmonds I have also had reddened soles at the end of the day, but not numbness. I couldn’t figure it out. I’ve been off prednisone for about three weeks now, and will see if it gets better better.
