Does or has anyone suffered depression while on Prednisone?

Ok -- PMR family / friends ----------- does / has anyone suffered depression while on Prednisone ?? -- When I was first diagnosed with PMR late Sept. / early October 2021, doctor put me on 40 mg --- pain went away and I felt great --- As of January 2022, down to 7.5 mg of Prednisone ------ but, my get up has gotten up and left ---- no energy -- no drive -- no enthusiasm --------- anyone else ?????

I am on 9 1/2 mg. and still having pain but also feel very sluggish and flat. It's hard to get enthused about anything and need 2 to 3 hour naps. Can't wait to get the old me back and pray for remission for us all.
