Post Surgery Expectations

This is day one post double laparoscopic hernia repair. All went well and feeling pretty good. Reaching out to see if anyone else has had laparoscopic surgery under general anesthesia and what they experienced afterwards.

I was taking 9mg (5&4) one day and 8mg (5&3)the next for around 40 days. Took only 5mg at 3:00am morning of surgery and due to anesthesiologist adding a stress dose (I believe 9mg) during surgery did not take second 4mg last night. Woke up this morning with no PMR related pains (original areas have been fantastic for last 7 months and only hands swelled or hurting and these feel 100% normal).

But enough with the particulars. Going to attempt only 7mg today but would like some feedback from others, if any out there what they experience after surgery. I’m 69 years old and walk anywhere from 3 to 4 miles a day and as healthy as us old people can be with God’s blessings. Flare ups? No Flare ups? Business as usual? Thank you for any info
