I've had both but not at the same time. I did some research and discovered that urinary tract infections are related to dehydration. So I drank a lot of water and my infection went away. I saw the doctor for the discharge and he prescribed an antibiotic cream that cured it. I'm surprised that the ER didn't do more for you. Perhaps you should see your primary care doctor.
I wish you the best.

3 ReactionsHave you seen a gynecologist or urologist? There are many theories about the conditions you describe. Were you prescribed antibiotics or anti fungal meds? There could be any number of causes, but I have good luck taking daily Cranberry pills and using Estradiol cream locally.
About three months ago, I had a really bad discharge, I seen my primary was tested. It came back as bacterial vaginosis. She gave me a round of oral antibiotic. Finish the medicine in a few days later it came back, went in and saw her again this time she prescribed a vaginal Antibiotic. Same thing finished the medicine and it came back a third time. She ordered a CT I believe with contrast I’m not sure. I don’t remember she saw that my uterus had thickened. I scheduled with a OBG doctor. He did some ultrasounds and a few other things. One was a biopsy came back negative so he scheduled a surgery where he went in and almost like a DNC cleaned out my uterus I have not had any discharge since having that done. I’m not sure if the discharge and the thickening of the uterus were connected. I didn’t have any symptoms of the thickening uterus. I didn’t even know I had it. They say everything happens for a reason maybe that’s why I had all the discharge so they would check my uterus. I don’t know. Just a thought. I hope you can figure things out for you And you feel better soon.

1 ReactionI didn't read all of the comments but do you used vaginal estrogen? There are so many options now for receiving it like creams and suppositories.
try d-mannose (which will change the environment in the bladder) - works similar to cranberry but better.
