Post Evenity DEXA numbers
So, I have my results after 12 months on Evenity.
Lumbar spine went from-2.5 to -1.8.
Left hip went from-2.0 to -1.8.
For the right hip and right femoral neck,
there are no scores, presumably because they are now titanium.

I was on alendronate for 2 years then forteo for 2 years. Back alendronate
for another 2 years. Evenity for 12 months. Now prolia for one year in
November. I had the greatest gains on evenity. I had much more modest gains
on forteo.
I'm not sure about the reclast amount. I read somewhere that someone had
had 1 mg. But it all seems like a crap shoot. It seems as though most docs
are trying to catch up and we've got to do our research too. Let me know
what you decide and how it goes. I forgot to mention that I started bhrt
last year. So no telling what positive effects this will have on my bone
help.
Studies have shown that prior bisphosphonate use can reduce the rebound effect or risk of vertebral fractures after stopping prolia. Your previous 4yr on fosamax probably helps, even though there was a gap year with evenity in between. That said, it might be tough to get your doctor to lower zolendronate less than 4mg after 2 prolia shots, likely due to the lack of data and potential liability concerns, imo. Will you consider fosamax again?
I was asking about your bHRT because I've been using it myself after forteo for its antiresorptive effects, without adding other antiresorptives (bp or prolia). So far so good.
I'll explore using fosamax again. Thank you. Good luck to you. Would love to hear more about your results as you continue on your bone journey.
