@silvern12 - Among several odd symptoms I have with PN, one I have discussed with my neuro doc is this odd symptom which is I guess best described as tingle feeling in ankles and feet when touching areas of shoulders and back. I have constant numbness in both feet but when any area of back is touched even drying my back with a bath towel, feet will tingle. It is a weird sensation for sure and docs have not given me an explanation. Never had this before PN. I don't think this matches your description, but it does show us that we can have various unexplainable symptoms.

Hi @numby25, I see that you are a fairly new member to Connect and I would like to welcome you and thank you for sharing some sound advice which I think might help with a lot of different health conditions. If you haven't already seen the Foundation for Peripheral Neuropathy site, it also has a lot of helpful information on living well with neuropathy - https://www.foundationforpn.org/living-well/.

Have you been diagnosed with neuropathy? What symptoms do you have?

Not so weird for me. Three years ago I complained to neurologist that when I touched my chin to chest or circled my head around my neck I felt a strong tingling all the way to my left toes. I just accepted this as a new part of my body and I seldom notice this sensation anymore. So I tried it again just now and, yes, there it is again. I exercise by walking laps in the pool and I am convinced that weekly acupuncture is helping to control the spread of my symptoms.

@ga33 - For sure, PN can really spin off some weird symptoms. Curious, did you ever have a neck injury? Ed
