Plastic lungs?

There's evidence that nanoplastics in our lungs causes inflammation which leads to infection. We suck in nanoplastics from the environment all day long. I'm concerned about the amount of plastic I'm inhaling from my nebulizing equipment which of course is made out of plastic. So is the tubing, and most concerning to me, the vials that contain the saline solution. The dangers of nanoplastics in our lungs is not a new idea. Is anyone else concerned about this? Has anyone spoken with their bronchiectasis/MAC specialist about it? I intend to take it up with my pulmonologist at NJH when I see him in Sept.

Lately I have been giving thought to all of that myself.
My 'baby sister' for years has been doing all she could for years to stay away from plastics. Orders bottled water delivered to her home in those big glass containers from Ozarka for years. True story, her fur babies will only drink the Ozarka water and refuse the tap water.
I have not had much plastic in my life other than take out and containers to freeze things in and now I am finally listening to her moments of preaching to me about plastics. She has used freezer safe glass containers for years also.
True, neb equipment and Aerobika etc. plastic.
