Do any of you use the Phonac PartnerMic to be able to hear your spouse more clearly? Hubby and I are going to get one programmed next week in hopes that it will allow him to hear me more clearly with his hearing aids when he is watching TV across the room and I want to ask him something (usually related to my preparing his dinner).
He currently has the TV sound programmed into his left ear, and is supposed to be able to hear me in his right ear, but it doesn't work if I'm a little too far away.

Many thanks for your patience and well-wishes, everyone!
I'm back home now, and will start physical and occupational therapy this week, following my stroke a month ago. hard to type with just one hand , so please excuse typos!
What I've found so far with the Phonak partner mic is that's helpful for extremely brief conversations of just a few words. Hubby's not big on talking, and always wants to get back to the bleepity-bleep TV. LOL
When I use the Partner mic to tell him something or ask a question, it shuts off the TV sound, so I can't just leave it on. But at least he can hear me for a brief few words, and I don't have to yell.
