Pests control

I was diagnosed with asthma, bronchiectasis and MAC in December 2023. As I am adapting to this new medical condition and making more changes (I also have Crohn`s, Gastroparesis GERD and osteoporosis) in my life style, I want to ask : what do you do for pests-control outside/inside? I am contracting with a company that services my yard, but I don was to be exposed to those chemicals anymore.

I have them treat the outside around the house perimeter.. Since I have young grandchildren, I did that before I was diagnosed with bronchiectasis.

We only treat the outdoor perimeter as well. We use environmentally safe products indoors like Zevo for things like flies, fungus gnats (fruit flies) and ants. We use solid biologic products like Avion Paste for roaches (we are in Texas)

Interesting about the paste product for roaches. I've only ever used something called "Harris Roach Tablets", which is mostly boric acid, and never have a problem.

Perhaps this is the nuclear or radical option -- remove overgrown plantings, those bushes/trees that touch your house. It will cut down dramatically on outside pests that migrate to inside.
