Persistent kidney stones despite low ox diet

I keep getting stones despite being on a low oxalate diet. Been to 3 nephrologists each whim told me a different thing. Last one thinks it’s genetic.

Anyone have stories of Mayo helping with finding out why you’re making stones and preventing them?

@pmac5smile Welcome to Mayo Clinic Connect! Having kidney stones is no laughing matter. My father dealt with them often, as has my sister. I also have had that humbling experience of kidney stones.

Attached here is an article from the National Kidney Foundation about kidney stones. The first thing, I think, is figuring out which type of stone you have!
