Pernicious Anemia with Alpha Thalaseemia Trait and Asthma

M38 Indian at USA. Getting treated at Mayo Clinic, Rochester., MN, USA. I am getting excellent care and blessed for the same.

Have extreme fatigue and brain fog due to alpha thalassemia trait and Pernicious Anemia.

My heart calcium score quadrupled from 14 to 62 % in 2 years and Iron deposition on heart is identified as mild to high using T2* Cardiac MRI.

Had lot of neurological issues including brain buzzing, extreme fatigue, numbness in both the foot, peripheral neuropathy. My neurologist wanted to check why B12 was always on low range or low and recently we discovered Pernicious anemia. Strange thing is the antibodies of piratical cells and intrinsic factor and gastrin is normal. We started with B12 injections recently.

Also have been diagnosed with reactive respiratory syndrome and asthma which caused me to have constant COVID, Shingles, EBV, CMP, Parvo Virus.
Have been having constant lymph node enlargement at auxiliary region though ultrasound is not capturing it or blood work not conforming lymphoma. Last one year doctors blamed EBV but even after the offset I run into them very often.

Take medication for anxiety, focus and sleep..GERD, acid reflux, renal fissure, minor gastric issues,
Saliva hypo function, dry mouth while talking making tongue getting twisted, fatty liver, gallbladder pigment stones, kidney stones in the past, elevated erythropoietin readings, degenerative arthritis,Tendonitis, L4-L5 stenosis causing sciatica pain are some of the other problems…

Cholesterol on control with HDL always low, blood pressure and no diabetes..

Is anyone having condition with thalassemia, Pernicious anemia and asthma like mine? Any of the combinations..

Does anyone in the group were in Mayo for any one of this issue?

Any stories about how we overcame or condition management with Pernicious anemia or alpha Thalassemia trait would be deeply appreciated.

I pray for abundant health and happiness for everyone in the group.

Thanks,
Mohan
