Peripheral Neuropathy

Posted by seniordon09 @seniordon09, Nov 1, 2019

I've had peripheral neuropathy for many years now and I have tried all the medicines and have not had much pain relief in my feet and toes !!
I've been to numerous doctors and came away with no answers !
I'm getting to the place where it is hard for me to walk and I fear that I will not be able to walk soon !
I'm looking for answers !

@sboylenotthesinger I think you are referring to Journavx. I am taking that now, actually off-label, because it is only approved for scute pain. You can read all my posts by searching under my name, or maybe by Journavx.

@julbpat my pain management doctor said that he could not prescribe that for me because it’s only for acute pain!!

Yes, that’s what my pain doctor and neurologist have said. But my primary doctor was willing to prescribe it. He and I have a long history and lots of trust.

I tried Journavax for knee replacement pain. Helped a little with that, but did nothing for the foot neuropathy.
