Pelvic floor surgery and wondering about post surgical pain

I had a anterior and posterior vaginal repair and still in a lot of pain it’s feels like a pressure pain in the front of pelvic bone and heavy crushing pain as well it’s been 8 weeks already anyway experience this before the pain is with me all the time ?

Hi @mel7575, I'm sorry to hear that you are still in a lot of pain. I'm tagging fellow members like @lindes @ess77 @jojo13 @fourof5zs who have had pelvic surgery, although I'm not sure if it is the same surgery. Hopefully they can share their experiences and offer encouragement.

Mel, eight weeks isn't that long after surgery, but it sounds like you are having more pain than you expected to at this point. Did you have a follow-up appointment with your surgeon to rule out if anything isn't as it should be?

I had a prolapsed bladder, and also some vaginal work done. Once the wounds were healed, I received pelvic physical therapy, and that helped me a lot, it got me going again in a very short time.
