Neuroplasticity Movement

Posted by renhandi01 @renhandi01, Jan 26, 2024

has anyone had any experience/results using the Anat Baniel Neuroplasticity Movement Method for Parkinson's. It is being recommended, but have not had sister start the program.

Mff70 suggested same for my husband but too expensive for us. I wish I could have one for my husband. Thanks helpful sharing.

Could someone please explain what this movement is? My husband has dropped head syndrome from PD and maybe it'd help his neck muscles. Thanks.

My husband also has PD,Afib & just stopped Eliquis. Now worried about stroke.

Hi, @renhandi01 - did your sister end up doing the neuroplasticity treatment you mentioned?

no she did not. She was hospitalized in March for about 10 days. They took some fluid off her brain and she got better for awhile but needs the shunt. Doesn't want to do that. Now in rehab as she can no longer walk. Pretty sad.

Oh, I am really sorry to hear that, @renhandi01.

Confirming your sister is in inpatient rehab? How is her rehab going?

Hello @renhandi01,

I am sorry to hear of your sister's issues. It sounds as if the shunt will provide relief if she has fluid on the brain. It sounds like her fear is keeping her from getting the treatment that would help get her back on her feet.

How long has your sister been dealing with this issue?

Hello @alone,

I can understand your concern for your husband after he went off Eliquis. Many people are taken off Eliquis when there are bleeding problems. Was that the reason that the Eliquis was discontinued for your husband?

Sometimes the Watchman implant can help. Here is a link to posts on Connect about the Watchman,

Has the Watchman been suggested to treat your husband's Afib? How are his Parkinson's symptoms?
