To those that suffer from abnormal sensation, what helps to relieve the sensations? What have you tried? What has helped or worsened your symptoms?

@dbar48 it might be worth checking to see where you could be seen sooner, even if the drive itself may be more uncomfortable, the fewer days of discomfort would hopefully be worth it. Will you let us know what you find out?
@amandajro Sometimes things move slow up here. Some of the doctors even work just two days a week. I'm surprised I'm actually getting in that soon, some people have to wait longer.
@beth11 Hi, I have severe foot neuropathy with many abnormal sensations, such as toes feeling like they are being pulled out of their sockets, toes feeling all over lapped, stretched way too wide….I could go on and on. Unfortunately, the only things that have helped with the pain and sensations are medical marijuana and Kratom. I am now going to do a trial of a Dorsal Root Ganglion Stimulator. Enough is enough. I am emotionally and physically exhausted from pain. Lori Renee

I have read that there have been cases of Kratom being contaminated with salmonella and even more cases of it being contaminated with lead. How does one find Kratom that one is sure is safe and contains the right dosage? (Fortunately I don’t live in one of the several states where it is a controlled substance though it may become a federally controlled substance)
I have a vibrating sensation in the souls of my feet and my ears. I also have tinnitus. I have not found help anywhere.
The vibrating sensation may go away after a while, I have had it in my toes, calves and hip which lasted for about 2 wks. and is very annoying. I also have the tinnitus but it is not terrible and unfortunately I have no solution for that.😕 Helen
Thanks for your info. I simply find it so weird that when the tinnitus gets very loud the vibrating sensation appears. I have had tinnitus constantly for about 33 years. No silence for me from that moment on.
.. i wonder if tinnitus can be caused by different things and whatever caused the tinnitus is causing the vibrating sensation… i am going through and have been through similar situation along with some other things; tinnitus years ago was the odd tinkle, knock, on and off once in a while but last year or more getting more machine like for hours, very hard to distract myself from it which is about the only thing we can do; leave ipad on all night with soft piano music in background. peripheral neuropathy since 2016 a medication reaction, but last year started internal tremors… five minute discussion over internet dr thinks Essential Tremor… you have to be a super sleuth detective sometimes to find out if there is a medication behind it all .. i have been through a lot of research trying to find out if dental numbing agent started it…as have had 6 freezings in six months; epinephrine, etc. and now i have found but have not read . as can only read so much about all this at a time… that my glaucoma drops, LATANOPROST , can cause tremors .. honestly its never ending. i am like you willows and would like even one day full silence! i was going to say at least it is not painful, but i have pain in ears too…. or jaw or face or…….. the mystery persists! JUNE
willows, I am so sorry, as tinnitus is a curse! Have you ever seen an ENT for it? I’ve read there can be many causes and lots of suggestions on how to deal with it but I have not seen a dr. nor have I tried anything yet myself. Helen

Helen I do hope your tinnitus gives you a break once in awhile. Mine was caused by loud music on one evening. I was with friends and we were there for a few hours. It damaged my ears and constant tinnitus has been with me ever since. If only people realized the damage sustained to their hearing by loud noise!
