Papillary Thyroid Cancer symptoms
I was diagnosed on the 14th with thyroid a cancer after having a nodule biopsy. Am currently working to get an appointment with a thyroid surgeon. Over the past year I have been having A LOT of what would be considered hypothyroid symptoms but my t4 and t3 levels always come back normal. I was just wondering if anyone else had similar experiences. (Female, 36)

My previous Thyroid tests came back normal as well. They found my nodule in a CT scan by accident. Had a Total Thyroidectomy and central neck disection last December. They found thyroiditis and metastasis in two lymph nodes, parathyroid and other lobe. Glad they found it. My tumor markers jumped last month and I have another nodule. Waiting to see when right neck dissection will be scheduled. Have had hypothyroid symptoms for over five years. I don't think they do enough investigating and insurance doesn't want to do more than t3 and t4 if they appear normal. I had put on 80 lbs in those five years and was very careful with my diet. My endocrinologist put me on zepbound and I am down about 38 lbs. I also am on higher dose of Thyroid meds due to cancer (for up to two years). The weight loss should also help energy level. I hope to get to stay on zepbound. I hope this was helpful.
