Pancreatic duct dialated

Posted by mrpic1030 @mrpic1030, Jan 22 12:31pm

Hi, I’m mrpic1030, I have already been diagnosed with malignant bladder cancer and MGUS, precursor to myeloma. I just returned from my urologist and a ct scan. They found the pancreatic ducts dialiated and recommended a GI doctor or my oncologist. Has anyone experienced this ? I’m already fighting 2 types of cancer and wonder if this is a big concern. Thanks.

I have pancreatic cancer diagnosed in Dec…I had a blocked bile duct and was referred to a gi who did an ultrasound and during this procedure placed a stent in my bile duct to help it drain bile. It is a common procedure.

Have you had any symptoms related to the dilated duct or was this an incidental finding during a CT scan?
