@jopier The score did hold up for a Phils win! I walk a lot too, but I can relate to it being hot. It is 112 here today. I try to walk by 7am to avoiding melting. Chasing grandkids can be fun especially when you catch them. It sounds like you have some very tasty hobbies that I wish that I could indulge with you. My oncologist told me to never stop moving, if I can. I heed that advice to the best of my ability. Any day above the dirt is a good day for me. Thanks for asking. When is your second cycle?

@tomrennie Phils messed around too much tonight.
today is my first day of second cycle. Tomorrow if I wakeup by 6 without alarm I will walk outside- my favorite exercise.
Tube here for two days at home then removed wed at 2 pm. the 29 th, and they plan to give me fluids that day. Next cycle will start Mon Aug 3.
🤞🏻They have nausea under control.
Keep up the exercise! I will be with you walking- hope literally if not i will cheer you on!

@valerina30 Here is a discussion on some tips on how to best take creon. Other members have used the tool on pertcalculator.org. Take a look at them, and let me know if you find anything helpful.

@jopier Messed around is a polite way to put it. Good luck with the cycle. Let us know, if you hit any unexpected speed bumps. My walk is delayed this morning. It is actually raining out. Since that doesn't happen much, we'll take it.

@tomrennie Thank you!
The new nausea meds have made a great deal of difference. i also use my daughters preggie pills during the day as needed.

I slept from 9pm- 4am.
woke up for my normal trip to br.

I seem🤞🏻to be doing better with the gi situation. Zofran- daytime nausea causes constipation which i find awful. so now i use muralax in first glass of room temp water or hot tea in the am and again with water around supper time. At the moment I seem to have a balance🤞🏻
I was able to drive down to Folly and watch a turtle inventory- a beautiful way to start the day!
I hope you feel good today!!

@jopier
Assume you are referring to Folly Beach? Is it time for turtles to come in and lay eggs? I need to plan a trip to the coast then!

@jopier It is a balancing act. If you find a balance that works, that's great. That balance can be elusive. What are your daughter's preggie pills? I am jealous of the turtles. I miss the beach. I am doing well.

@tomrennie pills are off of amazon called preggie drops- the 100 pack sour raspberry, green apple, sour lemon, sour tangerine.
i find them perfect to cut the nausea edge. i did order Quesy drops - haven't gotten yet.
because of chemo sores in mouth i am staying far away from ginger. i did get a subscription for that and it helps- a mouth rinse from the oncologist.
Phillies need to wake up - offensively a mess!

@jopier I have never heard of preggie drops. That's good to know. Thanks. Sores in the mouth can be painfully annoying especially when you are eating. For me, a basic baking soda/salt rinse has worked the best. I have only tried a few other mouth rinses. If I find something that works, I stick with it until it stops. The Phillies have lost their offense.
