Sinus Cancer: Prosthodontist specializing in palatal obturator?

Looking for a recommendation for a prosthodontist or dental specialist who is knowledgable in the fabrication and management of a palatal obturator located in the Jacksonville, Fl area.

Hi @nnurse, You’re looking for a prosthodontist in the Jacksonville who is knowledgable in the fabrication and management of a palatial obturator.
I did a little research and several names popped up.
One stood out with the most positive ratings for Beaches Dentistry Prosthodontics and Orthodontics. They’re located not far from the Mayo Clinic and are in Jacksonville Beach.

Really, any good prosthodontist would be able to make an appliance for you. In our general dental practice, we often worked with patients who had cleft palates or other dental anomalies where we needed to construct obturators. Do you have a family dentist in Jacksonville? You could inquire there or ask for a recommendation if the Beaches Dentistry doesn’t feel like a good fit.

I am familiar with this practice. He is an excellent
prosthodontist but has limited experience with an obturator. Thank you for your suggestion though and I may try to get a second opinion about my cancer and a prosthodontist suggestion from the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville. Best Wishes.
