How do you deal with oxygen tubing kinks and tangles?

Diagnosed with SCLC and am using an in home oxygen machine. I use the 50 foot oxygen tube to give me full access to my home. The tube is constantly getting twisted and with kinks. I spend a lot of time trying to get it straightened out. I am so grateful for the equipment but if anyone has suggestions to keep the tubing straight I would be so grateful.

Recently ordered Oxisure Tech tubing from Amazon. Been using it for several days and it is definitely an improvement from others I’ve tried. It appears to have some type of reinforcement around the actual tubing that prevents kinking and really reduces tangles. It is considerably more expensive than the others I’ve purchased, but for me, it’s worth the price to not have to spend time and frustration trying to untangle and unlink the cheaper hoses. I also think I won’t have to replace this one as frequent.

@mcgirene Just to update about the green tubing referenced above. My husband has been using 25 feet of it for 10 days. He changes floors with it as well as walking on the flat going to other rooms. So far no kinks or tangles. The flow is strong and regular. No need for swivel connectors. He is happy with it and will continue using it. Hopefully it will remain as effective with time and use.

Just to be clear we are not associated in any way to the seller of this product.

@mcgirene Bad news! This tubing just turned into a mess of tangles overnight. My husband felt less flow so found out right away. We will continue to search for a good one.

@mcgirene so sorry it’s not working for your husband. Mine is still working very well. I will update everyone if this changes.
