Yes, that was me. No other symptoms. Only had 1 bleeding episode. Fortunately my primary care dr took it seriously. Total hysterectomy May 2025. Stage 3A. Chemo completed Oct 2025.

@birdieb571 Welcome to Mayo Clinic Connect and to our support group.

According to the women in our support group, many of us (including me) had post menopausal bleeding that spurred us on to get in to see our respective gynecologists. I also understand from the women here that many of had very few symptoms or more diffuse symptoms when they had ovarian cancer.

May I ask if you are diagnosed with ovarian cancer? If yes, where are you in your treatment? Did you have a hysterectomy? Chemotherapy?

@birdieb571, it sounds like you might be concerned about post-menopausal bleeding your are experiencing. How are you doing?

Yes that was my first clue something was wrong. Unfortunately my primary doctor took two months to get me into an exam and in July 2025 I had a complete hysterectomy with one node removed with cancer and 3 removed with no cancer. IIIC2 diagnosis. I decided to delay chemo and radiation. There is a longer story there. Currently my scans and blood tests find no cancer or metastases. I am 81 years old and wanted some quality time before I make my decision on treatment. I go for follow up every three months. My C125 is 4. I wish you a complete remission and hope no more Chemo will be necessary.
