out of breath and weak?

Does anyone get out of breath and weak???
I get out of breath just going across the street to get my mail.
I get really weak after sitting for a while watching TV.
My legs don't want to lift up from the chair.

I had A fib. Needed an ablation and have been fine since! Prep testing bothersome but Nit that bad. Ablation easy. If you have sleep apnea you are high risk for A fib and a fib makes you very prone to a stroke. Take it seriously! Hope your better soon . I was just overwhelmingly dizzy!

Definitely. Pulmonologist called it DOE. I’ve been experiencing it for years! I’ve learned to pace myself and rest frequently when doing anything requiring strength or stamina.

@jimiwho I am certainly not a doctor so this advice is just "wonder if" If you are considering using Oxygen, the question has to be if you need it. Ask the NP or doctor if it would be worthwhile to get one of those finger clip things that measures your oxygen levels and see if when those things occur if your levels are low. That might indicate if you need O2 or not. I hope you can find some relief somewhere. Oxygen can get bothersome and expensive.

I do have shortness of breath without much effort. That is why I was
wondering if it wd help. I know ofmany elderly and/or prople who might
find both oxygen bottles and finger checks useful—-Santa might need one!
