Lumbar spine -1.8 and 0.6 BMD 0.786
Left total hip -2.0 & -0.1 BMD 0.697

@houls1 Make sure you are getting sufficient calcium and vitamin D3. Many people also take vitamin K2.

Weight-bearing exercise is important. Walking is NOT enough. Many people here recommend Dr. Lisa Moore's YouTube channel for osteoporosis exercises.

P.S. with those scores, you have osteopenia, not osteoporosis.

Yes, in addition to taking food high in calcium, take vit D+ K. I took D by alone and didn’t see improvement until I took K along with D. Weight training/resistance has been recommended. I’m adding weight resistance to my exercise to see if it helps. Agree with @njx58, walking/running is not enough. I’m a runner and didn’t see much improvement.

From what I have read, take D with K, k helps take it to the bones.
Best to you.
