Thanks so much for posting this. I'm willing to try anything at this point. I also read where berberine is being tested and looks promising . I started taking it a few weeks ago. I'm hoping it helps!
I do eat salmon once a week. I will have to increase that or get some supplements.

You are welcome, and good luck. Other sources of omega 3s include walnuts and flax seeds and chia seeds.

If you have hemoptysis episodes, my dietician at one of the major NTM hospitals told me that Omega3 has a blood thinning quality and she took me off of it in September 2023 -- haven't had an episode since but nothing is guaranteed with this disease!

I eat 3 Tbsp of Chia seeds in organic yogurt with a few blueberries or kiwi fruit everyday. Chia seeds are in Dr William Li's book " Eat to Beat Disease" to support the body's natural defense systems.

You are correct that Chia seeds, along with turmeric , and nattokinase all have anticoagulant properties. I reviewed this with my Cardiac EP and I decided the disease fighting properties of these nutrients was important to me. I have occasional AFib, but also PH. I agreed to stop these supplements and foods if I have an AFib episode and restart Eliquis twice a day for 30 days.
