Nose twitching

Posted by sonia2659 @sonia2659, Dec 6, 2022

I had covid in August 2021. I had long covid symptoms. After few months my left side of my face close to left nostril stared twitching alot. It's still going on. Nothing works. I m saying massages, muscle relaxer, antibiotics. My doc did the the ct scan it came back normal.
Is nose twitching is normal?

Twitching is neurological irritation from Covid. It should quit gradually,
tho may occur periodically then. Should fade away with time. I had it,
too. It has stopped.

I have the same thing. My ENT said I have post covid syndrome, but I had not read about the nose twitching before. It’s quite disconcerting. How long will it last?

Last year my body shook and my hands, almost like a Parkinson's patient but gradually it went away. Also, the muscles of my body contract and sometimes is painful and it got to a point were I wasn't able to swallow and had a hoarse voice. It happens but once in a while, so I think is fading. The frustrating part is that nobody understands, including doctors. I've had gone to the ER several times and they told me I was having panic attacks. Frustrating!!!

Me too! I’ve had the shaking, muscle contractions, hoarse voice, congestion and other symptoms. When will it end? The bad taste is really like torture. I just read about a treatment using an injection in the neck. I know, but,,,,I’m miserable ……I know that I do have health anxiety NOW. And severe anxiety.

Update. I have found some relief with mouth moisturizer gel and sugarless gum! It’s amazing.
